That's a wrap on our coverage of the 4th T20I between Ireland and Afghanistan with the Afghans running out winners in the end by 27 runs. Both teams will be back for the decider on Wednesday here at Stormont. Do join us for that game and for all other cricketing action around the globe in our network and across the formats.

This is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Ajay Ahire alongside our scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Until next time, goodnight and CHEERS!
Mohammed Nabi, Afghanistan Winning Skipper: "We are getting better by each game and have leveled the series. So, happy with that. Najibullah was magnificent for us and gave us those extra runs to play with that. Rashid Khan was great. Good to see him do well with the bat and after going wicketless with the ball, he picked up 2 today. So, he is back in the groove. We are improving our batting, bowling, and fielding in the last two games and hope to carry on the momentum in the decider. We are set up for a decider in two days' time. We have the momentum and the way we are playing cricket, we are hopeful of clinching the series on Wednesday. A bit of rest tomorrow and then come back on Wednesday."
Andrew Balbirnie, Ireland Losing Skipper: "Yes, it was the telling point. The way they played in the last 3 overs and we dropped our chances and so we lost. I think it's a shame, but that's the game. We started well and lost our way in the middle and then towards the back-end, we did well. All in all, disappointing. Hope to come back for the decider. 2-2 all to play for and take home the series. Rest tomorrow and come back fresh."
Rashid Khan(Player of the match):  "Thanks to god. The last couple of games were very hard for me. A little bit hard to play a match after a while so it was a quite difficult period for me. Our plan was, The maximum we get on this wicket so it will be better for us later while defending. Anything over 120 was a target for us. Finally, after 3 games got a wicket. And I want to dedicate this man of the match to Malik who bowled really well today."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Alan Lewis.
So, Afghanistan wins this rain-shortened game by 27 runs to level the series 2-2. It sets up for a decider on Wednesday. They have outperformed the hosts in all facets of the game today.

Chasing a stiff target of 133 to win in 11 overs, Ireland got off to a promising start courtesy of Paul Stirling's 20 off 9 balls and Andrew Balbirnie's 15 off 5 balls. But the innings fell away in the middle overs as George Dockrell fought a lone battle with an unbeaten 41 off 27 balls as he lost all his partners at the other end. Only 8 extras were given by the Afghans and loads of run-out took place towards the end.

The bowlers did a great job for Afghanistan with Fareed Ahmad Malik picking up 3 wickets for 14 runs in 2 overs and was undoubtedly the pick of the bowlers. A couple of wickets for Naveen-ul-Haq, and Rashid Khan who is finally amongst the wickets. A wicket for Omarzai as well. Mujeeb bowled 2 overs for 13 runs without a wicket to his name.

It was Andrew Balbirne who won the toss earlier in the game and opted to bowl first after the game was delayed for two hours due to rain. The match was reduced to 11 overs a side contest. Rahmanullah Gurbaz gave the Afghans a blistering start in the powerplay scoring 24 off 13 balls before departing. Najibullah Zadran was the star for Afghanistan with his blistering 50 off 24 balls. Rashid Khan finished things off in style with an unbeaten 31 off 10 balls as the Afghans ended with 132-6 in 11 overs with 11 extras gifted by the Irish bowlers.

Gareth Delany was the pick of the bowlers with his 3-33 in 3 overs which included 21 runs off his final over that he bowled. A wicket apiece for Mark Adair, Barry McCarthy, and Fionn Hand who bowled a single over today. Joshua Little remained wicketless as no bowler was spared on a good track and a shortened game as well.

So, a win by Afghanistan by 27 runs to level the series 2-2 with the decider to play. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way now.
