Milestone
That brings us to the end of the coverage of this fantastic encounter between the Ireland and UAE. Ireland has sneaked away with the victory today.

Do join us for all the upcoming games from all around the globe. For now, it's me Hitesh Peddurwar signing off along with my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee, and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Until then stay safe!!!
Andrew Balbirnie (Ireland Captain): "Yes, happy with the win and needed to get the win on board. Very difficult week and not get to the Super 6 was a huge disappointment. Today's was an all round performance. We spoke of ending the tournament on a high and win our last 3 games. So, not said much. In hindsight, a good toss to lose. The pitch looked good and was happy to contribute to the win. Paul is an incredible player and for me the best seat in the house was to stay in the non-striker's end and see him dominate and entertain all of us. Glad he showed his potential and I am happy that we won today. But obviously a bitter sweet moment as well."
Vriitya Aravind(UAE Vice Captain):" [On Waseem's injury] Looks pretty bad, he has gone for the scans. Hopefully, he gets fit for the other games. I

think the bowlers did a good job, but the credit goes to the Irish batters as well, they saw the first 10 overs and then accelerated. Yeah, I think this is the youngest side we have played. We have just 3 players over 25 years of age, a pretty young team.

Lots of positives we have the way Sanchit bowled, the way Hameed batted. We take the positives from all the games, and hopefully, we win the next two games not two at least one of them."
Paul Stirling (Player of the Match): "Yes nice to go out there and score runs. Put in at 9am and to negotiate the period and then score runs was great for us. I was feeling good and had some luck finally. Great to be batting with Andrew. Love batting with him and enjoyed it today. We want to end on a high. It's been a tricky last few days for us and happy to now win. We will have two more games after this and want to win those to end on a high. We are a proud team and we want to end on a high."
Paul Stirling has been awarded the Player of the Match.
19:30 IST,16:00 Local Time| Ireland registers their first win in the World Cup Qualifiers 2023, crushing UAE by a massive 138-run margin. They displayed complete dominance across all aspects of the game and secured a convincing victory.

Earlier in the game, UAE won the toss and invited Ireland to bat first. Openers McBrine and Stirling provided a solid start with a 41-run partnership. Balbirnie joined Stirling and together they built a crucial 184-run partnership for the second wicket.

Stirling impressed with a century, while Balbirnie contributed 66 runs. Stirling continued his dominant form before departing for an outstanding 162 runs. Tector added a quick-fire 57 runs to propel Ireland to a massive total of 349. Sharma was UAE's standout bowler, taking 3 wickets, with Naseer claiming one.

UAE's chase of 350 runs started with a bang as Muhammad Waseem displayed an explosive inning, supported by Aryansh Sharma(18). However, Waseem's run-out for 45 slowed down their momentum. UAE managed 68 runs in the powerplay but Irish bowlers tightened their grip and took crucial wickets.

UAE struggled in the middle overs, losing wickets at regular intervals. Basil Hameed(39) and Sanchit Sharma(44) offered some resistance with a 70-run partnership for the 7th wicket. Despite their efforts, UAE could only muster 211 runs before getting bowled out.

George Dockrell, Curtis Campher, Andy McBrine, and Joshua Little took a couple of wickets each for Ireland.
