So, that's all from our side as well. India win the 3-match ODI series by 2-1 and now both sides will face each other for a 5-match T-20 series starting from 3rd August.

For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya, Arijit Kundu, and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. CHEERS!
Hardik Pandya collects the trophy and the celebrations can now begin as the Indian players pose for photographs. Mukesh Kumar holds the trophy high and they take a few more pictures before the group moves away towards the pavilion.
Hardik Pandya (India Captain): "Very special, You know, if I be very honest, you know, I kind of, as a captain, I look forward to this kind of game where, you know, think something is on the line rather than, you know, something which is just an international game. This was more than an international game. We knew what was at stake if we fail, there was some disappointment as well. So to kind of play the game we played and the way the boys came up, came out and kind of showed the character at the same point of time enjoyed it. That is something that I really want this scene to have, which is the fact that when the pressure situation comes, they should absorb it and at the same point of time kind of cherish it because, without pressure, you won't be a hero. So that's something which was very heartening to see.

Virat and Rohit are a very integral part of the team. And, you know, obviously, this was very important for someone like Rutu to get a game or Axar to get a game because they've been playing cricket for so many years, they know how exactly all these situations have been. So kind of giving them the youngsters exposure and kind of making sure that if we want to check something, we have the opportunity to do it.

(Speaking on his batting approach today) Yeah, it was intentionally wanted to spend some time. Wicket was doing a bit and had a very wonderful chat with Virat a couple of days back, and the kind of input he gave me, he has seen me throughout the years. It's been almost seven or eight years of international cricket and he has seen me from day one. He had some pointers which really helped me. He just wanted me to spend some time on the crease and get used to the 50 or game as well because we have played so many T-20 formats and yeah, that kind of stayed in my mind and I was just waiting for the opportunity to kind of make sure that spend time once you get the rhythm, you'll find it, exactly what he said. I'm really thankful to him as well to kind of share that experience with me.

Scoring 350 was crucial. If the luck is on our side when a side is chasing a big score, it keeps going your way. West Indies woke up a bit late and took the game to the 34th over but the match was done and over in the powerplay itself.

I mean, obviously this is one of the nicest grounds which we have played. A lot of things could be better when we come next time to West Indies. From traveling to managing a lot of things, I think so many times last year as well, some hiccups happen."

Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Again, hindsight is the best sight. I wouldn't have changed the decision at the toss. We saw how the wicket behaved at the back end. It was good for batting but I think we didn't bowl well earlier before we did well in the last stages restricting them. Again, I am saying that was it, nothing much.

We didn't challenge them enough with the ball. We didn't hit that 6 to 8 m lengths and the result is in front of you. If they can get to 350, we should also believe in the chance to get to the same on the same pitch. Anytime you play, you got to believe you can win. We just didn't play well.

Consistency is the key for us. But are not yet up to the mark. As I said, some days we wake up and play like the best team in the world and some days we just get steamrolled."
Ishan Kishan (Player of the Series): "Actually, not so happy with the finishing that I gave. I think, being said, on these wickets where we played, I was supposed to score big. And that's what I was told by my senior players in coach that I should have finished the game or scored big runs. You know how big players do and from normal players, they go into great players. So that is the plan. Next time when I come here or in any other tournament, when I'm set in the middle, I'll try and get big run.

I think it's very important at this level when you are getting such good wickets, it's best for the batters to go in and get set, take your time and then play your game. But I think you have to always forget the last game, what you did in the last game, and try to start from zero in the other one. That's what I was looking for. Not thinking too much about what I did in the previous game. Just looking to watch the ball in play, taking one match at a time.

(Talking about Gill) I think he's a tremendous player. Like, I've seen how he middles the ball. So that is a plus point, being at the nonstriker and then realizing that he is batting very well and connecting all the balls in the middle. So that gives the confidence to me also, that gives confidence to me and I take the same momentum ahead.

I think it's always important to win at this level. And especially important thing is what you learn from the series. Like what we were doing throughout the match. After scoring 350, we were all on our toes to get those early wickets and everything. We were not letting any ball go easily. So that is the thing we try and learn from these matches where we get big runs or we don't get big runs. We try and try to defend the total. So these are the conversation that is going on between the team right now and everyone is looking very positive, looking to the future.

No, actually I've played few tournaments here now and I know how the wicket plays here, so not focusing too much about the World Cup taking. We got pretty good series coming up for with so many big teams. So we are more focused on that right now because you know how cricket is."

Player of the Series: Ishan Kishan
Shubman Gill (Player of the Match): "Definitely very special for me. First fifty in the tour. Wanted to convert it to a 100 but couldn't get that. But happy with the way I contributed to the team.

It was good for batting at the start but as the game progressed, the pitch started to behave quite differently. It slowed a touch and started turning a touch, making life difficult for me.
As the ball became older, it became tougher to hit. But happy with the way I have adjusted to the condition and played accordingly.

During the last game, I was well set and looking for a big one and tried to accelerate, you gotta keep putting the pressure on the opposition as that's the ODI game has evolved recently. I am not guilty for trying to go big but the execution could have been a bit better. I just try to do my best and not think too much about who's playing or not."

2:25 AM IST, 4:55 PM Local Time | Deepak: That's it, a humiliating defeat for the hosts in the decider and India clinch the 3-match ODI series by 2-1. India outplayed West Indies in all departments and thumped the hosts by a massive margin of 200 runs. This is India's second-biggest win in terms of runs against West Indies.

Let's have a quick recap of this clash. Earlier, Shai Hope won the toss and invited Hardik Pandya-led Indian side to bat first. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill spearheaded the innings for India, and the duo provided a solid start, as the duo added 143 runs for the first wicket before Ishan departed for 77 runs off 64 balls. Ishan was dropped at 9 by Keacy Carty, and the Southpaw utilized the opportunity, smashing bowlers all around the park and notching up his third consecutive fifty in the series.

Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to make an impact with the bat today and departed for a mere 8 runs off 14 balls. Sanju Samson came out with clear intentions today, as the right-hander played his natural game right from the word go and pounced on the looseners that came his way. Gill, who struggled to score runs on this tour, found his rhythm today and notched up his first half-century of the tour. Samson proved his mettle with the bat in international cricket and completed his third ODI half-century, but he failed to convert it into a big score and departed for 51 runs.

Hardik Pandya paired up with Gill, and the duo kept the scoreboard ticking at a decent pace. West Indies bowlers looked helpless in the middle, but out of nowhere, Gill pulled a shorter length delivery straight into the hands of short mid-wicket and departed for 85 runs. Suryakumar Yadav contributed 35 runs off 30 balls, while skipper Pandya plundered the bowlers all around the park at the cue end of the innings and smashed an unbeaten 70 runs off 52 balls, helping India cross the 350-run mark.

Romario Shepherd extracted a couple of wickets for West Indies, while Alzarri Joseph, Motie, and Cariah contributed a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of India’s 351 runs, West Indies got off to a nightmare start as they faced a daunting challenge from Mukesh Kumar, who wreaked havoc with the new ball and removed three batters in the first powerplay. Brandon King (0 off 5), Kyle Mayers (4 off 10), and Shai Hope (5 off 9) were the three batters who succumbed to Mukesh Kumar's relentless attack in the first powerplay.

Alick Athanaze tried to steady the ship from one end, but wickets kept tumbling from the other end. However, the pressure from the Indian bowlers proved too much, and Athanaze's innings came to an end after contributing 32 runs. West Indies were reeling at 88/8 and then came the partnership between Alzarri Joseph and Gudakesh Motie, as the pair showed their batters how to bat on this surface and went on to complete 50+ runs partnership for the ninth wicket. Joseph departed for 26 runs and Motie remained unbeaten on 39 runs, as West Indies were skittled for 151 runs.

On the bowling front, Shardul Thakur bagged 4 wickets for India. Mukhesh Kumar chipped in with three wickets, Kuldeep Yadav contributed a couple of wickets, while Jaydev Unadkat celebrated a solitary wicket.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation..
35.3 S Thakur to J Seales
W WICKETTT!!!!! No reviews are needed! Seales is the last man to bite the dust and India have completed another series win. Around the wicket. Quick, length and angling into the stumps. Seales clears his front leg and swings across the line for a wild hoick. He is nowhere near to it and misses it as the ball disturbs the stumps. Shardul has four wickets and India have taken the series with a huge win in the series decider. No Rohit Sharma, no Virat Kohli but it doesn't matter for India. They have now won 13 consecutive bilateral ODI series against West Indies. Also the second biggest win in terms of runs for India against West Indies.
35.2 S Thakur to G Motie
1 Slower on a length and at the leg stump. Motie flicks it towards deep backward square leg for a single.
35.1 S Thakur to G Motie
0 Over the wicket. Short and over the leg stump. Motie bends low and is hurried on the pull, getting beaten for pace easily.

34.6 K Yadav to J Seales
0 A loud appeal and up goes the finger. Flighted delivery drifting on the off and middle stump line. Seales on the front foot tries to defend and gets beaten on the inside edge of the bat, and the ball deflects off the pads and goes into the hands of the slip fielder. Seales sends it upstairs. Fair delivery. No bat is involved as ultra-edge shows a flat line. TV umpire Erasmus checks for the lbw and the ball tracking shows umpire's call on the impact. So the on-field umpire Gough has to stay to his original decision. No! Hang on a moment. Gough has said that he has given out for the catch and not for the lbw. Since no bat was involved, it's not a catch. Original decision for lbw was not out and hence the umpire's call saves Seales.
34.5 K Yadav to J Seales
0 Floated delivery on the stumps. Seales defends it off the front foot.
