Niroshan Dickwella (Colombo Strikers Captain):"First of all, praise my lord. It was a close game. We made a good decision to bowl first and happy we chased it down. At this ground, we made a tricky call of fielding. But we did not start well and came back well with the ball. Pathum opened because I have a split webbing and still managed to keep. Yes, it was a good all round performance. Yes, it was nervy towards the end. But wickets were in hand and I enjoyed this game. Glad that we got the win and finished on top. It was a great game of cricket."
Dasun Shanaka (Galle Titans Captain): "Yea, a great game of cricket. We had a great start but we did not capitalize. For me, it was a 200-plus wicket and we did not have enough runs on the board. We have given chances to youngsters and we look to continue with them. We made a few errors in the field today that did not help us. Azam and Nissanka batted really well for the Strikers today."
Babar Azam (Player of the Match): "Thanks to Allah. I think the wicket was good. Planned well in the first six overs and matched the run rate to win the game in the end. I thought we could get this 189 down. I though 190 beyond was on the cards. The bowlers brought us back and then we stepped up here. Of course, we tried to build long partnerships and play it deep. It was all about taking it deep and glad we came out on top."

18:24 IST and Local Time: It turned out to be an even contest as it got very close. However, the Strikers win and with that, they are on par with every other team in the league on four points. The Titans suffer back-to-back defeats despite posting a decent total on the board today.
Coming in to chase a target of 189 runs. The Strikers were provided with a perfect start by their openers Nissanka (54) and Azam. The duo kept on finding the ropes consistently and kept the required run rate in check. They posted a 111-run opening stand and kept the Strikers ahead in this run-chase. Nissanka was dismissed but Azam carried on and went to score a hundred. Azam lost his wicket in the final over of the match, but Nawaz the new man in hit a six and four and got the Strikers across the line with a ball to spare.
Defending their total, the Titans too weren't able to get the most out of the pitch. They got tonked around by the Strikers' openers in the first half of the innings. Shamsi was able to get a couple of wickets for the Titans. However, He did not find assistance from the other bowlers. The Titans were able to slow down the charge a bit at the backend, but couldn't stop the Strikers from chasing down the total.
