That’s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta and Scorer/Analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. CHEERS!
6:21 PM IST, 20:51 Local Time: A quickfire 52 runs off 31 balls from Devine and a well-composed unbeaten knock of 59 runs off 44 balls from Mooney has helped Perth Scorchers Women chase down a formidable 171 runs by 6 wickets and 16 balls to spare.

Earlier, after deciding to bat first, Renegades Women lost Tammy Beaumont for a duck in the very first over, and she was soon followed by Courtney Webb (15 off 10) in the third over of the innings. Hayley Matthews and Harmanpreet Kaur started building the partnership in the middle. Despite a couple of dropped chances, Matthews managed 31 runs before her eventual dismissal. Harmanpreet and Wareham then formed a partnership, reaching a 50-run milestone and setting the tone for the high score. Harmanpreet reached a well-constructed half-century and remained unbeaten till the end, while Sarah Coyte's powerful hits pushed the total beyond 170 runs in 20 overs. Alana King, Chloe Ainsworth, Amy Edgar, and Taneale Peschel celebrated a wicket apiece for the Scorchers.

In pursuit of 171 runs, Scorchers lost Chloe Piparo for just one run in the very first over. Beth Mooney and Maddy Darke took charge of scoring in the powerplay, and the duo scored at a brisk pace, keeping the run rate in check. However, Sarah Coyte trapped Darke for 17 runs and ceased the budding partnership.

Sophie Devine joined forces in the middle, and the Mooney-Devine duo unleashed their absolute beauty and put the Renegades Women on the back foot. The duo went on to achieve their fifty-run milestones and forged a 100+ run partnership for the third wicket.

Devine failed to bat till the end and departed after contributing 52 runs off 31 balls. Amy Jones played a short cameo of 23 runs off 12 balls, while Mooney remained unbeaten on 59 runs off 44 balls, helping Scorchers chase down 171 runs by 6 wickets and 16 balls to spare.

Sarah Coyte bagged a couple of wickets for the Renegades, while Hayley Matthews and Georgia Prestwidge contributed one wicket.
Sophie Devine, Player of the MatchBatting with Beth Mooney is good fun. She is so calm and composed. I think I am enjoying this phase of getting to bat down the order.  It is making our batting order really threatening to have Maddy Darke and Chloe Piparo up in the order since both of them are batting really well at the moment. It does allow you to have a bit of freedom.
17.2 Matthews to B Mooney
4 FOUR! That will be the game for the Scorchers. Mooney hits the winnig runs and it's an emphatic win for the Scorchers. It was full and on middle stump. Mooney got down on one knee and swept it behind square for a boundary to seal the deal for her side. The home side win by 6 wickets with 16 balls left.
17.1 Matthews to L Griffith
1 Short and on middle stump. Griffith rocks back and swats it down the ground through long on for a single.
Perth Scorchers Women need 5 runs in the last 3 overs now. Matthews comes back into the attack.

16.5 S Coyte to A Jones
W OUT! This time Jones holes out. She tried to get too funky this time. It was on leg stump and too full. She tried to play the reverse ramp and didn't get the timing right on this one. The fielder at short third took an easy catch.

0 Back of a length and on middle and leg. Jones backs away to cut it through point. Dot ball.
