That is it from our coverage as well. A fantastic series to be part of. Plenty of records were shattered, plenty of heroes emerged and plenty to take away home for India, while England will take hard lessons from this riveting 5-match series.

For now, it's me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee and Arijit Kundu, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal, brought you all the live-action from the final day of this hard-fought series. We will meet again. Until then, its cheers!

India became the first team to beat England in a Test series under Brendon McCullum.
Jay Shah the BCCI secretary gives the trophy to Indian captain Rohit Sharma as India are the winners by 4 matches to 1. Rohit takes the trophy now to his team mates as they pose for photographs with the winners banner in front of them. The youngsters get hold of the trophy as Rohit goes into the side posing. The support staff joins them and now they can celebrate which they deserve.
Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "Honestly, a lot of things have fallen into place. To do well in a Test series, it is a must. That is why I am standing here.

At some stage, the people are going to go, and the people are going to come. It's the nature of life as well as cricket. It's good to see a lot of young guys, inexperienced ones, come and express themselves. When put under pressure, they came on top. They put their hand up when pushed into tough situations. That is good to see. Credit to them. These guys are maybe short of experience; they have played a lot of cricket, and I can stand here and see that these guys responded pretty well under pressure.

The credit goes to the entire team, and it was pleasing to see. When you win a series like this, we talk about scoring runs and 100s, but it is important to take 20 wickets to win a Test. The way bowlers took responsibility was pleasing to see.

We did put runs in Hyderabad, but the way we came back with the ball in the next four games was brilliant.

We had a conversation with Kuldeep over a period of time. He's got a lot of potential, and when the chips were down in the first innings, he bowled really well. After his (Kuldeep) injury, he came back and worked at NCA. He is putting in a lot of effort, and the most pleasing thing is his batting.

Jaiswal has got a long way to go, amazing to be in this position. When a guy's got talent like that who can put pressure on the bowlers from the word go, there will be lots of challenges going forward. He is a tough guy and loves the challenges, clearly superb series for him and likes to score big."
The BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announces 'Test Cricket Incentive Scheme' to promote red ball cricket.
Yashasvi Jaiswal (Player of the Series): "I really enjoyed it. It gives a lot of experience and enjoyed my time out there. I was just thinking to play my shots and wanted to take him down and that was my aim. Nothing more. Playing one match at a time and enjoy my game out there. I want to contribute to the  team's goals and purpose and hope to do well at the moment. My aims are basically team oriented and not necessary as an individual."
PLAYER OF THE SERIES: YASHASVI JAISWAL
