5:41 PM IST, 2:11 PM Local Time | Riding an all-round effort, Nambia defeated Zimbabwe by seven wickets in the fourth T20I on Sunday (October 29), in Windhoek. After being asked to field first, Namibia bowlers hit the right lengths and restricted Zimbabwe to 153/6 in their full quota of 20 overs. Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine hit an unbeaten fifty. Opener Tinashe Kamunhukamwe's 32-ball 32 was the other notable contribution as Zimbabwe, on a low and slow track, found it difficult to up the scoring rate. For Namibia, Handre Klazinge and Gerhard Erasmus ended with two wickets each.
In response, solid knocks from Namibia's top-four -- Michael van Lingen (47), Nikolaas Davin (34), Jan Frylinck (29) and Erasmus (31*) -- guided them past the finish line eight balls remaining. Once Namibia openers Lingen and Davin stitched an 82-run stand, the other batters showed the same confidence and helped their team level the five-match T20I series.
The fifth and final game will be played on Monday (October 30) at the same venue.
