Baroda's chase of 144 runs got off to an excellent start with openers Jyotsnil Singh and Ninad Rathva forming a formidable partnership, posting 81 runs in just 7.5 overs for the first wicket. Rathva played a fluent innings but was unfortunate to depart at 44 runs off 26 balls, featuring 6 fours and a six. Skipper Krunal Pandya contributed 8 runs, while Jyotsnil Singh departed after scoring 37 runs in 29 balls.
Vishnu Solanki and Shivalik Sharma continued the chase, adding 26 runs for the fourth wicket before Sharma was dismissed, contributing 13 runs. Solanki remained unbeaten at 17 runs off 17 balls, and Bhanu Pania scored an unbeaten 13 runs to help Baroda comfortably cross the victory line with 3.5 overs to spare, finishing at 146/4 in 16.1 overs.
From Assam's bowling perspective, it wasn't a good day as they struggled both in batting and bowling. Akash Ashish Sengupta managed to take a couple of wickets, while Pallavkumar Das and Mukhtar Hussain each picked a wicket.
