That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of scorer Raju Khariya. Tata. Bye Bye.
Adil Rashid (Player of the Match): “I felt pretty nice actually. The seamers set up things nicely which allowed the other bowlers to come in. It was deliberate to bowl slower. Depending on the surface, I slowed up my pace. But it depends on the situations. Sometimes I got for sixes and fours but it was fortunate that it worked for me and my team tonight.
Player of the Match: Adil Rashid
Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Sharjah Warriors Skipper): “Nice to bounce back. We bowled beautifully and nice to chase it down comfortably. Every time I have played here, it has been a belter. But the way Rashid bowled, we decided to keep him bowling. We lost Sean Williams due to the injury but nice to have these many options. It was good to get it right. I think minus two is too far to get there. But I feel if we win two, we will be in for the playoffs."
Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Skipper): “First six to eight overs, we lost two wickets but in the middle overs, we didn't carry one. This total is always tough to defend. The middle overs batting was very surprising. It was hard to batting. But we have to adjust to the conditions. The hand is alright. Getting better. Two days rest and hopefully, I'll be fully fit."
Biggest Six of the Match: Joe Denly (90 m)
10:45 PM IST, 9:15 PM Local Time: That’s it. A comprehensive victory for the Sharjah Warriors and they keep their playoffs hopes alive. Their bowlers set up things beautifully by knocking over the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on 94 before their batters stepped up and chased it down in 13.5 overs. With this seven-wicket win, the Warriors have got back to winning ways.

Chasing a paltry total of 95, the Warriors lost their skipper Tom Kohler-Cadmore on one in the second over to Joshua Little. Liam Livingstone walked out to bat at three and went berserk. He came out all guns blazing and scored at a brisk rate. He along with Niroshan Dickwella played some lovely strokes and made full use of the fielding restrictions.

Livingstone and Dickwella put 52 between them off just 26 balls before the former fell after scoring 30 off 13 balls. The run rate suddenly dipped as Sunil Narine and Imad Wasim bowled tighter in the middle overs. Dickwella was stumped on 29-ball 30. Martin Guptill and Joe Denly remained unbeaten on 13 and 18 respectively to take the Warriors home in 13.5 overs with seven wickets in hand.

Earlier, the Knight Riders faltered against spin. After losing Joe Clarke (0) in the very first over, Michael-Kyle Pepper along with Alishan Sharafu led the recovery work. Both put 61 for the second wicket before the introduction of spin changed the whole complexion of the match. Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone bowled brilliantly in the middle overs and registered combined figures of 5/36 in their eight overs.

Pepper (32) and Sharafu (26) were the only contributors with the bat for the Knight Riders as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and got bundled out on 94 in 17.1 overs. Rashid picked up four wickets and conceded only 12 runs in his four overs. Livingstone and Joe Denly also chipped in with one and two scalps respectively to help the Warriors restrict the Knight Riders below 100 which they chased down with 37 balls to spare.
13.5 Lintott to J Denly
1 Flighted delivery on the pads, Denly flicks it through square leg and collects a single. With this, the Sharjah Warriors beat the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by seven wickets with 37 balls to spare.
13.4 Lintott to J Denly
2 Shorter in length outside off, Denly looks to punch it off the backfoot but gets an inside edge past the leg stump in the fine leg region for a couple of runs.
13.3 Lintott to M Guptill
1 Tossed up on the fuller side on middle, Guptill drives it straight and Lintott half-stops it. Single taken as the ball rolls in the mid off region.
13.2 Lintott to J Denly
1 Short again and Denly again slaps it but finds covers. The fielder inside the circle gets a hand to it but fails to stop it cleanly and concedes a run. Bopara the fielder there and he has hurt his left hand. He is walking off.
13.1 Lintott to J Denly
0 Over the wicket, shorter in length outside off, Denly slaps it straight to covers.
