That's it from our coverage of the 40th match in the Bangladesh Premier League. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Litton Das (Comilla Victorians Captain)- "Our bowlers bowled really well today. The overall bowling was too good. Appreciation goes to Neesham for his innings. Musfik is doing well for the last two games and he has done well today. The target was not a very big one so we tried to take the innings on slowly. We tried to keep the wickets and take the game deep. It would have been better if we could finish the game but Russell has done well for us. He has hit a few colossal maximums which entertained the spectators."
Andre Russell (Player of the Match): "This game was too important after losing yesterday. We know where we went wrong and had a team discussion. It was a very good team effort for us. I am happy with the win.

When I bowled my first over, my body was feeling good so I told the skip I was ready. Whenever your body is feeling good sometime the luck goes your way. I am happy to contribute with 3 wickets and also finish off the game with the bat. I feel I did my job today as an allrounder, that's what I am known for."
Nurul Hasan (Rangpur Riders Captain)- "Neesham has batted really well and I think that's an alarming thing for us ahead of the qualifier. We should repair our lacking and we should comeback stronger. We have won 8 consecutive matches and everyone of us tried to give their best. We know where we did the mistake and just regrouping will be key for us."
Andre Russell is the player of the match.
21:31 IST and 22:01 Local Time | In the clash between the two top sides in the table, the Comilla Victorians are coming out with flying colours. They got the victory by 6 wickets and with 14 balls remaining.

Batting first in the game, Rangpur Riders lost wickets at a regular interval. Brandon King(4), Rony Talukdar(14) Mahedi Hasan (8) and Nurul Hasan(2) got out cheaply and they were reduced to 39 for 4. Shakib Al Hasan and James Neesham helped their side to recover from the scratch and the duo stitched a 29 run partnership before Shakib got out for 24 off 19 balls. On the other side, wickets kept falling but Neesham kept his calm and added runs to the scoreboard. Riders were 102 for 8 at one stage and from that, they reached 150 and the courtesy goes to Neesham. He remained unbeaten on 69 off 42 balls hitting 9 boundaries and a couple of maximums.

Andre Russell was the star of the bowling picking up 3 wickets for just 20 runs by bowling just 2.5 overs. Mohammad Musfik Hasan took 3 wickets for just 18 runs in his four overs. Matthew Forde took a couple of wickets and Tanvir Islam took a solitary wicket for the Victorians.

Coming to chase, the Comilla Victorians got off to a flying start as skipper Litton Das and Sunil Narine hit a few boundaries in the first two overs. But Shakib Al Hasan removed Narine and the number 3 batter, Towhid Hridoy in the gap of two balls and after that, the run flow got halted for some time. Litton Das and Mahidul Islam Ankon stabilized the innings by stitching a partnership of 65 runs off 56 balls. Litton got out for 43 and soon after, Ankon got out for 39 off 29 balls. But Andre Russell compensated the wicket loss and he converted Hasan Mahmud's over to a 25 run over. He remained unbeaten on 43 off 12 balls hitting 4 boundaries and 4 maximums to take his team home.

For the Rangpur Riders, Shakib Al Hasan took 3 wickets for 20 runs and Abu Hider took a wicket but the bowling effort was not enough for them to defend the 150 run target.

17.4 M Hasan to A Russell
6 BANG! It's all over! Very full attacking the off stump. Russell waits for it clearing the front leg and gives it a big big whack. Hits over the bowler's head clearing the long off fence! Victory for Comilla Victorians!

WD Bigger bouncer than what Abu Hider. Wide called outside off, Russell plays no shot.

4 BANG! FOUR MORE! Russell-Mania! This one is clubbed across the line, one bounce and past the cow corner fence. Fullish delivery around the off stump. Russell off his front foot, slaps it through the cow corner for a boundary.
21 from the over with a ball to go! Just 12 needed from 17 now for the Victorians.
16.5 H Mahmud to A Russell
6 SIX RUNS! Horrible bowling from Hasan Mahmud. Bowls yet another full toss. Easy pickings for Russell who gets forward and clubs this over wide long on.
16.4 H Mahmud to A Russell
4 FLAT HIT FOR FOUR! Full toss outside the off stump, just below the waist. Clears the front leg and gives it a whack. Long off runs to his right but the ball is traveling quicker towards the rope.
Andre Russell is in a hurry now!
16.3 H Mahmud to A Russell
6 SIX MORE!! Russell in his zone! Bumper angled at the helmet. Takes eyes off the ball and hooks across. Powerful strike over fine leg.
