Litton Das, Player of the match, Comilla Victorians Captain- " I thought it was a big relief to get into the finals. I think Hridoy's knock was great and he changed the momentum and he took all the pressure. This was the best partnership of my playing career. We need to improve in the death bowling area. It was a good wicket to bat on. I know the strengths and weaknesses of Rangpur and it gave me some confidence. I know, our lower order is very strong. "
Nurul Hasan Sohan (Rangpur Riders Captain)- "The wicket was very good. Neesham played a fabulous innings for us. We lost a few wickets in the powerplay and I think there we lost the game. After the first ball wicket, Litton and Hridoy batted very well for them. We lost three in the powerplay and we lagged there. Our bowling didn't click either. We have a good chance to win the next game and make it to the final. The bowlers should stick to their basics. We have to regroup soon."

The Comilla Victorians are into the final and they've clinched the game by 6 wickets. They're into the final for the sixth time and they've scored 186/4 in 18.3 overs on the back of a special knock from their skipper Litton Das and a dazzling innings from the youngster Towhid Hridoy!
The Comilla Victorians started off in poor fashion as they lost Sunil Narine of the very first ball of the run chase. Towhid Hridoy came in with some intent though and he went on the offensive from ball one. The exuberance of youth was on display even as Litton scratched around for a while on the other end. The Hasan Mahmud over saw Hridoy going berserk as he picked up 22 runs of it. He picked up his 50 of just 30 balls and it rubbed off on Litton who also upped the ante. The Victorians got to 96 runs at the end of the 10th over and they had the run chase under control as they need another 90 in the next 10!
The carnage continued as the duo kept up the run rate and kept chipping away at the target. Litton Das brought up his fifty with three boundaries in one over but Hridoy threw his wicket away soon after. Fazalhaq Farooqi was brought back into the attack and once again he proved to be the wicket taker as he did the trick with the slower ball. The Victorians need 41 runs from the final five overs of the game and they were in the drivers seat.

Mahedi Hasan picked up a solitary wicket but both of them were quite expensive as they were smashed around the park. The only bright spot with the ball for Rangpur Riders was Shakib Al Hasan who gave away only 21 runs from his four overs.

Full length delivery angling at the middle and leg. Ali flicks it away over deep midwicket in disdain and the ball sails over the rope for a maximum. Rangpur Riders will meet Fortune Barishal in the qualifier 2 on the day after tomorrow.
