Ahh... End of a proper bashing at Hyderabad. It's an absolute graveyard for the bowlers, and IPL has seen many records tumble for fun tonight. Tomorrow, it's RR vs DC at Jaipur. That should be another blockbuster.

For now, it's me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Sidharth Gulati and Akshay Bhide, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav, brought you all the live action of this breathtaking game of cricket. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
-This is the first time that four bowlers have given away more than 50 runs in an IPL match.

-Everyone who batted in MI's top six has scored more than 20 runs tonight, which has happened for the first time in IPL.
Abhishek Sharma (Player of the Match): "It was nice. In the previous season as well, I carried a lot of confidence from there. We have a lot of Punjabi boys and we have carried the momentum from the Mushtaq Ali trophy. But I feel the message has been clear to keep going for the batters and it has helped.

I really admire Head. He just said that if there is there to hit, just go for it, even if it's your first ball. I think that helped me. It's more that I'm getting a chance and I'm trying to express myself.

I think finally I have got a batting order. That's one thing I would say. Also, I had a chance to talk to Brian Lara last night and it helped. If you see me in the practice, you would see that I'm bowling more than I'm batting."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: ABHISHEK SHARMA
Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "That was insane. It's one of those games. It felt like they were finding boundaries whenever they wanted. It was good to finish on the winning side.

In IPL, we have played in front of big crowds and to see him (Abhishek Sharma) play with freedom was good to watch. You never played for 270. We wanted to play positively with the impact player and score aggressively.

It's obviously a good wicket. You have to suck up that you will go for some boundaries. The cutters helped in the last phase. First home game here. The crowd was very loud and it was amazing."
Most Fours in the Match: Travis Head (9)
Super Sixes of the Match: Heinrich Klaasen (7 sixes). Even Abhishek hit 7 sixes, but Klaasen made more runs than the Indian.
Fantasy Player of the Match: Heinrich Klaasen (124 fantasy points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Abhishek Sharma (63 off 23 balls at a strike rate of 273.9)

Travis Head (Sunrisers Hyderabad): "Feeling good. The batters have done extremely well in two games so far. So much power in the group, and we have displayed it perfectly.

"We want to be aggressive inside the mandatory PowerPlay.

I just tried to sum up the conditions. I was pleased playing my shots all across the park. I'm pleased I could target both the off-side and on-side. Earlier I would sometimes just target the on-side.

Obviously, MI, too, have got so much power. But I felt we had enough on the board. The experience from Bhuvi (Kumar) and (Pat) Cummins in the end was class."
