So, the Orange Army emerges victorious tonight and the Chennai Super Kings have lost two games in a row. The action now shifts to Jaipur where the Rajasthan Royals will be hosting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Do join us tomorrow for that clash.

For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Sidharth Gulati and scorer Paras Yadav. Tata. Bye Bye.
Abhishek Sharma (Player of the Match): "I think in the bowling we felt it's a bit slow wicket so we knew somehow if we take the powerplay on then we can just go with the flow after that. Actually, we had a chance to prepare well before the IPL, so we somehow knew it was going to be a bit slow but not excessively so. I think big scores really matter and it's just I just went with the flow today and hopefully I'll just get you to the last next time. Actually, it's all the hard work I put before this. So special thanks to my dad, Yuvi Paji, and Brian Lara for this."
Abhishek Sharma is the Player of the Match
Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Yeah. different soil. It slowed up as the game progresses and it was good to get on top. We have got plenty of fast bowlers. Shivam was hitting the spinners very well and I decided to use the fast bowlers.

The first thing was to get the points. Watching Abhishek is fun. I don't want to be bowling to him right now. Just want him to play with freedom and it's wonderful to see him.

The crowd is crazy tonight. Especially, when MS walked out to bat. We have got five games to go here and hopefully, we will make it five in five."
Most Fours in the Match: Aiden Markram (4 boundaries)
Super Sixes of the Match: Shivam Dube (4 maximums)
Fantasy Player of the Match: Aiden Markram (78 points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Abhishek Sharma (37 off 12 balls at a SR of 308.3)
11:04 PM IST, Local Time: Time for the post-match presentation.
Aiden Markram (SRH): ā€œThe wicket was not equivalent to what it was against Mumbai. The ball was sticking a bit. Even when we bowled, in the first 10 overs, it was alright but it became slower and slower. We did well to get into a good position early on.

Not too much. I donā€™t want to think too much. Just see ball and hit ball. Just react to what it comes. It was encouraging from our management to send Abhishek up the order.

I think when you get on tricky wickets, you have to value the set batter. Thatā€™s what impact player has created. It has given our batters the freedom to go out there and play freely."
Ruturaj Gaikwad (Chennai Super Kings Captain): "It was a slow pitch. Towards the end, their bowling was effective. We couldn't take advantage in the final five overs. We were in a promising position at the halfway mark, but they bowled well in the latter part of the innings.

No, I think it was a black soil pitch, so we kind of expected the slowness. But as the ball aged, it slowed down even further, and we couldn't capitalize at the end. Additionally, they utilized the conditions well on their side of the boundary.

I think to start off with our bowling, we didn't have the best powerplay, with one dropped catch and one big over. However, I feel that dragging the game till the 18th over was a great effort. 170-175 is a par score. If we had a good powerplay with the ball, we could have won the game. "There was slight dew in the later stages. Moeen was spinning the ball in the 15th and 16th over, so I feel there wasn't much of a difference."
22:49 IST and Local Time | That's it. Sunrisers Hyderabad register a six-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings, who slump to their second consecutive defeat. Credit to SRH pace bowlers, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, and Travis Head for rising to the occasion on what was a slow surface in Hyderabad.

Chasing a target of 166, a stupendous display of power-hitting from the SRH openers made sure that the hosts dominated the powerplay. Abhishek was off to a flier. He hammered 37 off only 12 balls before falling to Deepak Chahar. Head, who was dropped in the first over, and Markram then took over and continued Abhishekā€™s good work. Only wickets was the way for CSK to stop SRH, who negotiated the CSK spinners well and got over the line with 11 balls remaining. Markram top-scored with a 36-ball 50.

Earlier, a disciplined show with the ball from SRH helped them restrict CSK to 165/5. Itā€™s pertinent to note that the slower deliveries gripped and the batters found it tough to time their shots. Asked to bat first, CSK opener Rachin Ravindra departed cheaply. Ruturaj Gaikwad got off to a start, but couldnā€™t convert it. Shivam Dube walked in and led his teamā€™s recovery by smashing the SRH spinners. Ajinkya Rahane, on the other hand, began well, but once the ball got a bit old, he struggled with his timing and eventually got out. Pat Cummins got the better of the dangerman Dube with a short delivery. Daryl Mitchell then struggled, but Ravindra Jadeja hit an unbeaten 23-ball 31 to guide CSK past the 150-mark. All the SRH pacers - Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Jaydev Unadkat grabbed a scalp each.
18.1 D Chahar to Reddy
6 SIXXX!!!! Nitish Reddy finishes things with a six. A convincing victory for the Sunrisers Hyderabad over the Chennai Super Kings. Chahar bowls a slower delivery right in the slot on the stumps, Reddy picks it up early from the hand as he stands still and gets underneath this one to launch it straight over the long on fence for a maximum. A clean strike into the crowd and the Orange Army win by six wickets.
SRH need 6 runs off 12 balls. Deepak Chahar will bowl the penultimate over.
