That's it from our coverage of this game. Hope you enjoyed the double header that we had in the IPL. We will be back tomorrow with Gujarat Titans up against Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad. Stay tuned to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe and across formats.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Ninaad Dixit alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Cameron Green (Player of the Match): "Yes, a great game for our team. Unfortunately, it was a bit late, but we are still in the hunt and that's important.

It was a concern not getting 200. We took early wickets and pitch was not easy. We got lucky and then assessed the conditions and did well.

We identified that pace on the ball works for the batters. Pace off works for us and thankfully there was no dew. Spent a lot of times to get adjusted to the conditions.

Last year was a road, and this year it has something in it for the bowlers and that is good. Short ground and bowlers need help. Glad about it. Thank You."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: Cameron Green
Faf du Plessis (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain): "It's brilliant. Great way to put it. We have put in great performances and we are happy about it. It's all about confidence. We found that out. The batting has improved and we got to 200+ and now with the ball we are improving and taking wickets and bowling oppositions out.

That's a feeling that we have. It was not a match up that helped him. The ball was swinging and that's why we used Swapnil less. Axar was batting there as well. Hope he will get more overs in the coming games.

Yes, lot of work has gone behind the scenes. Behind closed doors we are getting it right and that for me is the shining light. We have 6-7 options with the ball and assess according to conditions. Siraj has come back well and Yash has been exceptional. Lockie Ferguson has done well as well.

Both batting and bowling needs to have a full crack and go hard. We have to play bold always. The wicket was different and inconsistent. We were 60 in the powerplay and the guys kept going and did well. Will keep going. Thank You."
Most Fours in the Match: Axar Patel (5 Fours)
Super Sixes of the Match: Axar Patel (3 Maximums). He has scored more runs than Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli, who also have hit 3 sixes each.
Fantasy Player of the Match: Yash Dayal (105 Points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Virat Kohli (27 off 13 at Strike Rate 207.69)
11:21 PM IST and Local Time: We are ready with the post-match presentation...
RCB has defended a total for the first time in night games at Chinnaswany since 2019. The previous occasion they defended a total in a night game at this venue was against PBKS.
Most consecutive wins for RCB in IPL History:

7 in 2011 (Runners up)

5 in 2009 (Runners up)

5 in 2016 (Runners up)

5* in 2024
Lockie Ferguson (RCB): "It was a combined effort. All the hard work we have been doing this season, its nice to get a few tricks at the end.

Even when we were losing, the leadership group was very even. Some disappointing games but at the same time we knew if we played to our potential, which we did recently, we can get a few wins and get on a roll.

The batters did extremely well. It was looking as the ball was gripping a lot more. The way the boys started was excellent, getting early wickets made my job easier tonight.

Certainly looking forward to a few days off and then see Chennai boys here in a few days. It has been challenging bowling here but its been great working with the group over here. Its nice when the whole bowling attack sort of picks up wickets throughout which makes the job easier for the rest of us."
Axar Patel (Delhi Capitals Captain): "I think the dropped catches cost us 20-30 runs extra and when you are four down in the powerplay then you are always chasing the game."

"It was two paced pitch, not easy to hit through the line. Some balls were skidding through while some were sticking in the pitch. 150-160 would have been a par score on this surface."

"Anything can happen (with three teams at 12 points on the points table), we have a travel day tomorrow and we will sit and analyse what can be done for the last group-stage match."
11:05 PM IST and Local Time: A comprehensive win for Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they have outplayed the Delhi Capitals in all facets of the game to win by 47 runs. This is their 5th consecutive win this season and Delhi's lowest total this season as well. The hopes are well and truly alive for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Chasing a challenging target of 188 for the win, Delhi Capitals lost Impact Player David Warner cheaply. Jake Fraser-McGurk looked good for his 21 off 8 balls but was unfortunately run out at the bowler's end. Shai Hope scored 29 off 23 balls. Skipper Axar Patel played a lone hand and scored 57 off 39 balls. Rasikh Salam scored 10 runs. 6 extras given by the fielding side as Delhi Capitals have been bowled out for 140 in 19.1 overs.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru were excellent with the ball. Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 3/20 in 3.1 overs. Lockie Ferguson bowled well for his 2/23 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Swapnil Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and Cameron Green who bowled a miserly spell. There were two run outs in the innings as well.

Earlier in the game, RCB were put into bat first by Delhi Capitals. RCB lost skipper Faf du Plessis early. Virat Kohli came out all guns blazing and scored 27 off 13 balls before being dismissed by Ishant Sharma. Will Jacks scored 41 off 29 balls while Rajat Patidar scored a magnificent 52 off 32 balls. His 5th fifty in 7 innings.  Cameron Green was unbeaten on 32* off 24 balls. Mahipal Lomror scored 13 off 8 balls. 10 extras given by the fielding side as RCB finished with 187/9 in 20 overs.

Delhi Capitals were sloppy in the field but bowled decently out there. A couple of wickets apiece for Khaleel Ahmed and Rasikh Salam. A wicket apiece for Ishant Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, and Kuldeep Yadav who was expensive tonight. Axar Patel was wicketless today.

So, Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Delhi Capitals by 47 runs in Bengaluru and climbs upto 5th in the points table. DC and LSG slip down the ladder. Stay tuned for the presentations coming your way.
